Mjellby Art Museum will be closed 13 April–8 May for the reinstallation of exhibitions, in preparation for the upcoming exhibitions.
The museum reopens on May 9th – welcome back!
Mjellby Art Museum is the museum of the Halmstad Group and Sweden’s only museum dedicated to surrealism. Since 2023, we also hold a major deposit of works by the artist Thea Ekström.
Here, visitors can experience our collection and exhibitions shaped by a curious and critical view on art history. We also present other exhibitions featuring national and international artists – often with a focus on surrealism.
