Your time at a sixth form college is extremely important. You develop, get new knowledge, interests, values and friends. It’s important for us that you have the opportunity of influence your education and enjoy yourself. Students can choose between various programs, specializations and courses. You get to meet well-educated teachers and lots of ways of working. Study and career counsellors are available at all schools and provide support in all subjects with specialist teachers, ensuring physical and mental well-being for students. We work a lot with foreign exchange students and with companies in other municipalities. Our schools naturally have everything a modern school needs: technology, reception areas, cafés, laboratories, student councils, school newspapers, internet connections, digital platforms and places to spend time with friends.
Sixth form colleges are for students aged between 16 and 20 and are not compulsory. Applicants to sixth form colleges must be 19 or younger and if you are 20 then you can apply for a place in one of the municipality’s adult education facilities.
Special needs sixth form colleges are available at all schools.
